Abstract
Correction for ‘Microenvironment-responsive multifunctional hydrogels with spatiotemporal sequential release of tailored recombinant human collagen type III for the rapid repair of infected chronic diabetic wounds’ by Cheng Hu et al., J. Mater. Chem. B, 2021, 9, 9684–9699, DOI: 10.1039/D1TB02170B.
The authors apologise for the mistakes made in Section 2.1. Materials and in the Acknowledgements of this article. The authors would like to correct the source of the tailored recombinant human collagen type III as this was incorrectly referenced in the article. The corrected sentence is as follows, ‘Our tailored recombinant human collagen type III (rhCol III) was prepared by Shanxi Jinbo Biomedicine Co., Ltd (Taiyuan, China), and the preparation process was the same as the previously reported method’.
The authors also wish to correct the acknowledgement regarding the funding for the rhCol III. The corrected acknowledgement is as follows, ‘Special thanks to Shanxi Jinbo Bio-Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd for their help in affording the as designed rhCol III.’
