Abstract

Retraction of ‘Recent advances of metal–metal oxide nanocomposites and their tailored nanostructures in numerous catalytic applications’ by Chaiti Ray and Tarasankar Pal, J. Mater. Chem. A, 2017, 5, 9465–9487, DOI: 10.1039/C7TA02116J.

The Royal Society of Chemistry hereby wholly retracts this Journal of Materials Chemistry A review article due to unattributed text overlap with an Energy & Environmental Science review article by Xueqin Liu et al., which was not cited in this article.1 Although there are sections of original work, there are significant portions of text overlap in the Introduction and Sections 2.3, 2.6, 2.7, 3.1–3.4 and 4.1–4.4.

Tarasankar Pal opposes this retraction. Chaiti Ray was contacted but did not respond.
