Correction for ‘Thermally induced top-down nanostructuring for the synthesis of a core/shell-structured CoO/CoSx electrocatalyst’ by Min Soo Kim et al., J. Mater. Chem. A, 2019, 7, 26557–26565.

The authors regret a mistake in Fig. 5, where Co3O4 and CoO curves in Fig. 5(b) were mistakenly interchanged. The corrected figure is presented below:

Fig. 5 (a) N2 physisorption isotherms and (b) pore size distributions of Co3O4, CoO, and CoO/CoSx particles.

There were also errors in the sentence “The calculated TOFs of Co3O4, CoO, CoO/CoSx, and IrO2 at an overpotential of 400 mV were 0.81, 2.79, 3.46, and 5.03 s−1, respectively.” on page 26563. The corrected sentence is copied below:

“The calculated TOFs of Co3O4, CoO, CoO/CoSx, and IrO2 at an overpotential of 400 mV were 0.081, 0.279, 0.346, and 0.503 s−1, respectively.”

The Royal Society of Chemistry apologises for these errors and any consequent inconvenience to authors and readers.
