We report a new block copolymer bearing p-fluoronitrobenzoate (FNB) pendants that is capable of responding to the H2Sn biosignal in an extraordinarily selective and sensitive manner. This kind of polymer can further self-assemble into 1D rod-like nanoparticles in aqueous media and manifest H2Sn specific-triggered particulate disassembly through H2Sn-induced cleavage of side functionalities.
