Dimensionally and structurally controllable perovskite single crystals: nickel(ii)–terpyridine complex (Ni–Tpy2)-based perovskites

Abstract

In this study, for the first time, we in situ introduce a nickel(II)–terpyridine complex [Ni–Tpy2]2+ to replace the A-site ion and grow a series of Ni-based perovskite single crystals, which are proved to have dimension-tunable structures and outstanding optoelectronic performance toward device applications, e.g., solar cells, photodetectors, etc.
