Abstract

Correction for ‘Non-linear alignment dynamics in suspensions of platelets under rotating magnetic fields’ by Randall M. Erb et al., Soft Matter, 2012, 8, 7604–7609.

In the original paper, there is a typesetting error in eqn (2). The term sin2[thin space (1/6-em)]θ should be sin[thin space (1/6-em)]2θ making eqn (2):

This correct equation was used throughout all of the calculations and reported results in this paper. The conclusions of the article are not affected.
