Abstract

Correction for ‘nBu4NI-Mediated oxidation of methyl ketones to α-ketoamides: using ammonium, primary and secondary amine-salt as an amine moiety’ by Dan Wang et al., Org. Biomol. Chem., 2017, 15, 3427–3434.


The authors regret that two relevant references were omitted from the Introduction. After the sentences ‘Due to their wide utilities, the synthesis of α-ketoamides has attracted considerable attention in recent years. A plethora of synthetic routes have been developed for the preparation of α-ketoamides with varied reaction conditions and different starting materials (Fig. 1).’ selected examples of synthetic methodologies towards α-ketoamides were discussed corresponding to references 4–13 in the article. However, two recently published reviews on the synthesis of α-ketoamides were omitted. The missing references are listed below as ref. 1 and 2.
