Abstract

Correction for ‘Torularhodin, isolated from Sporidiobolus pararoseus, inhibits human prostate cancer LNCaP and PC-3 cell growth through Bcl-2/Bax mediated apoptosis and AR down-regulation’ by Chao Du et al., RSC Adv., 2015, 5, 106387–106395.

In a couple of instances the compound torulene is incorrectly mentioned:

In Section 3.5 the sentence beginning “To determine the effects of torularhodin and torulene in the intracellular Ca2+ level, …” should read “To determine the effect of torularhodin in the intracellular Ca2+ level, …”. Also, in the legend to Fig. 5(B) the sentence beginning “(B) The effect of torulene on Bcl-2 protein expression…” should read “(B) The effect of torularhodin on Bcl-2 protein expression…”.

The Royal Society of Chemistry apologises for these errors and any consequent inconvenience to authors and readers.
