Abstract

Correction for ‘Mimicking vanadium haloperoxidases: vanadium(III)–carboxylic acid complexes and their application in H2O2 detection’ by Xiao Dong Feng et al., New J. Chem., 2016, 40, 1222–1229.

Throughout the manuscript, the formula of complex 2 is represented incorrectly as V(2,6-pdc)(htba)(H2O)2 (2,6-pdc = 2,6-pyridinedicarboxylic acid, htba = 2-acetoxy-4-trifluoromethylbenzoic acid). The correct formula for complex 2 is V(2,6-pdc)(L)(H2O)2 (2,6-pdc = 2,6-pyridinedicarboxylic acid, L = 2-hydroxy-4-(trifluoromethyl)benzoate).

The Royal Society of Chemistry apologises for these errors and any consequent inconvenience to authors and readers.
