Abstract
Correction for 'One-pot synthesis of functionalized isoxazole–thiolane hybrids via Knoevenagel condensation and domino sulfa-1,6-Michael/intramolecular vinylogous Henry reactions' by Sakkani Nagaraju et al., RSC Adv., 2015, 5, 94474–94478.
The authors apologise for the errors in the numbering of the compounds throughout the text, which may confuse the readers. As such, they would like to make the following corrections:
(1) In page 94475, Table 1, entries 19–23 the base “Piepridine” should be read as “Piperidine”.
(2) In page 94475, left hand column, paragraph 3, the compound number “3-Methyl-4-nitro-5-styrylisoxazole (2)” should be read as “3-Methyl-4-nitro-5-styrylisoxazole (4)”.
(3) In page 94475, right hand column, paragraph 2, the compound number “α-mercaptoacetaldehyde 4” should be read as “α-mercaptoacetaldehyde 1”.
(4) In page 94475, right hand column, paragraph 2, the compound number “isoxazole derivative 3” should be read as “isoxazole derivative 2”.
(5) In page 94476, left hand column, paragraph 1, the compound number “isoxazole–styrene as intermediate 3” should be read as number “isoxazole–styrene as intermediate 4”.
(6) In page 94476, left hand column, paragraph 2, the compound number “α-mercaptoacetaldehyde 4” should be read as “α-mercaptoacetaldehyde 1”.
(7) In page 94476, right hand column, paragraph 2, the compound number “3,5-dimethyl-4-nitroisoxazole (1)” should be read as “3,5-dimethyl-4-nitroisoxazole (2)”.
(8) In page 94476, right hand column, paragraph 2, the compound number “α-mercaptoacetaldehyde 4” should be read as “α-mercaptoacetaldehyde 1”.
(9) In page 94477, left hand column, paragraph 1, the compound number “α-mercaptoacetaldehyde 4” should be read as “α-mercaptoacetaldehyde 1”.
