Abstract
Correction for ‘A new blue-shifted luciferase from the Brazilian Amydetes fanestratus (Coleoptera: Lampyridae) firefly: molecular evolution and structural/functional properties’ by Vadim R. Viviani et al., Photochem. Photobiol. Sci., 2011, 10, 1879–1886.
The species that was used for the work described in the above manuscript was Amydetes vivianii, and not Amydetes fanestratus. Therefore, in all segments of the manuscript that describe the experimental work or discuss the experimental results, A. fanestratus should be replaced throughout by Amydetes vivianii.
