Abstract

Correction for ‘A solvent selection guide based on chemometrics and multicriteria decision analysis’ by Marek Tobiszewski et al., Green Chem., 2015, 17, 4773–4785.


The authors would like to note that the sentence “Overall rankings for GCI-PR, GSK and AstraZeneca guides were obtained by conversion of the specific numerical values given for safety, health and environmental hazards, according to ACS GCI SSG”.11 (page 4782) is incorrect. The correct version of the sentence should read: “Overall rankings for GCI-PR, GSK and AstraZeneca Guides were obtained by conversion of the specific numerical values given for safety, health and environmental hazards, according to the transformation approach proposed by CHEM21”.13

Additionally, the preference categories of some solvents present in Tables 4–6 were not provided or classified appropriately for previously reported solvent selection guides. The correct categories for these solvents are displayed below.
