Recent progress on the tailored synthesis of various mesoporous fibers toward practical applications

Abstract

Mesoporous fibers have attracted great interest because of their potential applications in various fields such as catalysts, sensors and electrodes. Various mesoporous fibers with different compositions such as metals, alloys, metal oxides, and carbons have been prepared by the use of both hard-templates and soft-templates. We briefly highlight recent works in these emerging research fields.
