Emerging Investigators 2010

Welcome to the third Molecular BioSystems Emerging Investigators issue devoted to outstanding young scientists working at the chemical- and systems-biology interfaces.

All the contributors to this 2010 Emerging Investigators issue came highly-recommended as scientists at a relatively early stage in their careers whose work has the potential to influence future directions in chemical-genetics and systems biology.

The resulting issue comprises 25 articles: 3 reviews, 7 communications and 15 full papers. Taken together, the exciting science revealed in this issue spans the areas of proteomics, signalling, transport and chemical tools for probing biological systems.
