N-Heterocyclic carbene-containing complexes in catalysis

Abstract

The aim of this report is to highlight the latest advances in the use of N-heterocyclic carbenes (NHCs) as ancillary ligands for transition metal-mediated transformations. A critical overview of their scope and performance is provided.
