Dalton Transactions selected for Index Medicus/MEDLINE

We are very pleased to announce that Dalton Transactions has recently been selected by the US National Library of Medicine for inclusion in Index Medicus/MEDLINE, the World's most important biomedical database.

The National Library of Medicine uses an expert advisory committee, the Literature Selection Technical Review Committee, to review and recommend the titles that should be indexed. To be selected for inclusion, a journal has to satisfy certain criteria, including scope and coverage, quality of content, quality of editorial work and production quality. Only ca. 20% of journals reviewed for inclusion are selected.

The selection of Dalton Transactions for inclusion indicates the importance that the journal has to the scientific literature in the fields of bioinorganic, biological inorganic chemistry and inorganic biochemistry. This in turn reflects the support that the journal has received from you, our authors and reviewers, and on behalf of the Editorial Board, we thank you all for this support in helping Dalton Transactions to achieve this important milestone.

Coverage of Dalton Transactions in MEDLINE will be from the January 2004 issue.
