Fractal structures in disperse systems

Abstract

The fractal structures that form in disperse systems are considered. Theoretical models of fractal aggregation and the kinetics of coagulation of fractal aggregates are described. The characteristics of deposited fractal films and of corroded surfaces are considered. The multifractal analysis of colloidal systems and related thermodynamics of fractal aggregates are outlined. The bibliography includes 380 references.
