Abstract
Following on from the update in the last issue of Pesticide Outlook (Kidd, 2002) on this initiative to reduce the environmental impact of pesticides in the UK, Alan Malcolm Chief Executive at the Institute of Biology comments on a recent UK Government Committee report which is critical of the progress made so far.
