Abstract

[Fe2Cu4(SePri)8Cl2]2–, an unprecedented hexanuclear mixed iron–copper–selenolate cage complex containing a dodecahedral selenium framework and [Fe3Cu(SePri)6Cl3]2–, a related tetranuclear complex anion with an octahedral selenium arrangement, are described.
