Silylacetylene dendrimers: synthesis and characterization

Abstract

The first silylacetylene dendrimers (1G and 2G) with alternating silicon–acetylene units [(SiC[triple bond, length half m-dash]C)n] have been synthesized and characterized by spectroscopic methods; the X-ray structure of 1G is reported.
