Stereoselective reactions of α-(arylsulfonyl)cyclohexyl carbanions

Abstract

The reactions of α-arylsulfonyl carbanions generated from 3-hydroxy- and 3-alkoxy-1-(arylsulfonyl)cyclohexane with some electrophiles are suggested to proceed with inversion of configuration of the carbanionic centers.
