Abstract

PbTiO3powders with low agglomeration were solvothermally synthesized in alcohol solution to be free from contamination by foreign ions. Borderline reaction conditions such as temperature and time were established. The use of strong alkali as mineralizer was found to be effective for the synthesis of perovskite phase PbTiO3 . The products were characterized in detail by XRD, TEM and other techniques.
