CsFeSiO4: a maximum iron content zeotype

Abstract

The alkali-metal iron silicate, CsFeSiO4, has been synthesised, using a gel decomposition method followed by high temperature annealing, and shown to adopt the zeolite ABW structure constructed from alternating FeO4 and SiO4 tetrahedra surrounding caesium.
