Abstract

Luminescent rhenium(I) diynyl complexes [Re(CO)₃(^tBu₂- bpy)(C[triple bond, length half m-dash]C–C[triple bond, length half m-dash]CH)] and [Re(CO)₃(^tBu₂bpy)(C[triple bond, length half m-dash]C–C[triple bond, length half m-dash]CPh)] were synthesized and their photophysical properties studied; the crystal structures have also been determined.
