Crystallization of 3-cyanophenyl 4-cyanobenzoate with AgSbF₆: a polar coordination network based on the crisscrossing of intertwined helices

Abstract

Crystallization of 3-cyanophenyl 4-cyanobenzoate 1 with AgSbF₆ yields the non-centrosymmetric, fourfold interpenetrated grid structure [Ag(1)₂]SbF₆ 2 through the crisscrossing of two-dimensional sheets.
