Abstract

Laser flash photolysis/time-resolved EPR spectroscopy of acetone, methyl ethyl ketone, pyruvic acid, and levulinic acid included in α-, β- and γ-cyclodextrins has identified a number of cyclodextrin radicals, and shows that the relative radical yields differ for different cyclodextrin–ketone pairs.
