Abstract

A temperature-dependent photoacoustic technique was used to elucidate the structural transformation of aluminophosphate molecular sieves, AlPO4-21/AlPO4-25 and AlPO4–H3/AlPO4 –C/AlPO5–D. The definite transformation temperature of AlPO4-21 into AlPO4-25 was obtained at ca. 537 K. In a parallel photoacoustic study on the structural transformation of AlPO4–H3/AlPO4 –C/AlPO4–D, the photoacoustic results suggest that the structural transition of AlPO4–H3 into AlPO4–C occurs at ca. 378 K, and the topotactic transformation of AlPO4–C into AlPO4–D takes place at ca. 497 K.
