Abstract
The magnesium catalysed Diels–Alder reaction of 2-benzoylacrylate gave the endo-adduct enantioselectively with bis(oxazoline) 5 as a C2-symmetric ligand or mono(oxazoline) 4 as a non-C2-symmetric ligand.
