First example of a copper(i)–water bond. Synthesis and structure of polymeric poly-µ-2,3-diphenylquinoxaline–(aqua)copper(i) cation

Abstract

The perchlorate salt of the poly-µ-2,3-diphenylquinoxaline(aqua)copper(I) cation containing a discrete Cu⁺–OH₂ bond is synthesised and characterised structurally.
