Insertion of arylsulfonylnitrene fragments into Pd–Pd bonds. Crystallographic characterization of the novel [Pd₂Cl₂(µ-dppm)₂(µ-NSO₂ C₆H₄NO₂-2)] A-frame adduct

Abstract

The dimeric palladium complex [Pd₂Cl₂(µ-dppm)₂] reacts with arylsulfonyl azides affording novel arylsulfonylnitrene-bridged dinuclear A-frame complexes, [Pd₂Cl₂(µ-dppm)₂(µ-NSO₂ Ar)].
