Efficient polymer-supported Sharpless alkene epoxidation catalyst

Abstract

Linear poly(tartrate ester) ligands provide high chemical yields and enantiomeric excesses in the epoxidation of trans-hex-2-en-1-ol using Ti(OPrⁱ)₄–tert-butyl hydroperoxide.
