Abstract

Hydroxylated products of hydroquinone (H2Q) are induced via [Fe(ox)3]3-–H2O2 under light and detected in the visible region by laser spectroscopy; reaction of hydroxyl radicals with (H2Q) is observed leading to adduct formation.
