Water hydration of macrocyclic systems in organic solvents: an NMR diffusion and chemical shift study

Abstract

NMR diffusion measurements and chemical shift data are used to study water hydration of 18-crown-61 and its potassium iodide complex (1.KI) in [2H]chloroform suggesting different modes of solute-water interaction in the two cases.
