C–H and Si–C bond activation on diruthenium bridging methylene complexes: evidence for reversible oxidative addition of Si–C(sp3) bonds
Abstract
Interconversion between silyl-µ-methylene complexes [(C5H5)2Ru2(µ-CH2)(H)(SiR3)(CO)2] and [(C5H5)2Ru2(µ-CH2)(SiR3)2(CO)2] and µ-silylmethylene complexes [(C5H5)2Ru2(µ-CHSiR3)(µ-CO)(CO)(L)](L = CO, PPh3) follows reversible oxidative addition-reductive elimination processes of C–H and Si–C(sp3) bonds.
