Abstract

Cocondensation of nickel atoms with the simple divinyldisiloxane molecule [CH2[double bond, length half m-dash]CHSi(Me)2]2O yields the crystalline, volatile 16-electron X-ray-characterised nickel(0) complex [CH2[graphic omitted]i].
