A new one-pot synthesis of bis(macrocyclic) complexes: preparation and characterization of nickel complexes with bis(pentaazamacrocyclic) ligands

Abstract

Template condensation of [Ni(2,3,2-tet)]2+ with formaldehyde and aliphatic diamines result in new type of nickel(II) bis(pentaazamacrocylic) complexes; the spectral and electrochemical data indicate the absence of electronic interactions between the metal centres.
