Faraday communications. HREELS and XPS evidence for facile H-transfer from NH3(a) to chemisorbed N adatoms at a Zn(0001) surface

Abstract

H-transfer from NH3(a) to a mixed adlayer of nitrogen and oxygen adatoms at a Zn(0001) surface has been studied; H-transfer is facile and selective to give NH(a) and NH2(a) at low temperatures.
