High-resolution excitation function by time profile crossed-beam chemiluminescence

Abstract

Time-of-flight spectra plus product time profile were measured to obtain the state-to-state excitation function for the Ca*(3P, 1D)+ N2O → CaO*+ N2 reaction. This is the first time that this method has been applied to a crossed-beam experiment using electronically excited metal beams.
