Synthetic Ni-substituted saponite as a catalyst for selective dimerization of ethene
Abstract
A novel synthetic Ni-substituted saponite, Nax(Ni3)oct.(Si4 –xAlx)tet. O10(OH)2, which contains Ni2+ ions in all the octahedral brucite layers, has a high surface area and works as an efficient catalyst for the selective dimerization of ethene.
