The isomerisation of the manganese(I) complex trans-[MnBr(CO)2{P(OPh)3}(dppm)][dppm = bis(diphenylphosphino)methane, Ph2PCH2PPh2] to cis,cis-[MnBr(CO)2{P(OPh)3}(dppm)] is catalysed by the manganese(II) cation trans-[MnBr(CO)2{P(OPh)3}(dppm)]+.
