Immobilized bilayer stationary phases in gas chromatography

Abstract

A polyion complex composed of dialkylammonium bilayers and poly(styrene sulphonate) showed excellent capability as a stationary phase in gas chromatography and its separation behaviour was influenced by the phase transition of the immobilized bilayers.
