Synthesis of (±)-(4aS, 13cR)- and (±)-(4aR, 13cR)-1,2,3,4,4a,13c-hexahydro-5H-indazolo[2,3-d][1,4] benzodiazepin-6(7H)-ones

Abstract

The synthesis of two novel hexahydro-5H-indazolo[2,3-d][1,4] benzodiazepin-6(7H)-ones is described. These fused heterocyclic benzodiazepines ensued from a general study into the synthesis of tetracyclic structures containing the indazole ring selectively bonded at the N-2 position.
