Several chlorofluorostannates [SnClnF6–n]2–, and all the bromochlorostannates [SnClnBr6–n]2–, have been identified in solution by means of 119Sn n.m.r. spectroscopy. Isomeric configurations where n= 2, 3, or 4 have been assigned by the method of pairwise interactions.
