An e.s.r. study of the generation and reactivity of the borane radical anion (H3) in solution

Abstract

t-Butoxyl radicals are shown to abstract hydrogen rapidly from H4B and H3BCN to give H3 and H2BĊN, respectively, and the reactions of H3 with alkyl halides, isocyanides, and azides are reported.
