Absolute configuration of some tricarbonyl(cyclohexadiene)iron complexes

Abstract

The absolute configurations of the complexes (1) and (6), obtained by chiral transfer of Fe(CO)3 to the dienes, have been determined by transformation into the known terpenes cryptone and phellandrene.
