Anchored clusters of the types (µ-H)M3(CO)10{µ-S(CH2)3(OXIDE)} and Co3(CO)9(µ3-C-OXIDE)[OXIDE = SiR3 –x(oxide)x; oxide = SiO2, γ-Al2O3, TiO2, ZnO, MgO, SnO2] have been prepared and characterised by ir. spectroscopy.
