Statistical thermodynamics of mixed-gas adsorption. Localized monolayer adsorption on heterogeneous surfaces

Abstract

The generalized integral adsorption isotherm and main thermodynamic functions for localized monolayer adsorption of gas mixtures on heterogeneous solid surfaces have been derived on the basis of statistical thermodynamics. Two-component adsorption systems have been discussed in detail.
