Numerical estimation of equilibrium concentrations

Abstract

An algorithm is given to solve simultaneously two sets of equations, the first linear in the logarithm of the unknowns and the second linear in the unknowns. Newton's method coupled with an adapted relaxation technique is used. A flow diagram and a numerical example are provided.
