Conformational equilibria in cyclohexanol, nitrocyclohexane, and methylcyclohexane from the low temperature 13C nuclear magnetic resonance spectra
Abstract
The relative integral intensities in low-temperature 13C n.m.r. spectra have been used to determine the conformational energies for cyclohexanol (A 1·02 kcal mol–1), nitrocyclohexane (A 1·27 kcal mol–1), and methylcyclohexane (A 1·8 kcal mol–1).
