Organoboron compounds. Part VII. Boron derivatives of o-hydroxybenzyl alcohol

Abstract

The synthesis and properties of a series of 2-substituted 4H-1,3,2-benzodioxaborins (where the substituents are Ph, R2N, RNH, RO, and RS) are described. The i.r. and mass spectra of some of these compounds are discussed.
